Activity Highlights
September 8, 2021
- Brian has been looking forward to visiting the Harley dealership for a long time. When he finally had his chance, he returned as a human billboard for Harley Davidson. Even though Brian doesn’t ride anymore, he likes to reminisce on the days when he would ride off into the sunset on a steel ride.
- Arizona has been humid recently due to monsoon season. Residents and staff are taking advantage of this wet weather by planting flowers. We’re able to transport these indoors and outdoors to care for them until they’re strong enough to grow outside on their own.
- Golf Update: Ron is at it again, working on his short game and reminiscing about his days playing at Pebble Beach. Ron has traveled the country playing golf and been fortunate enough to play some of the most exclusive courses. His stories are sure to make you laugh and keep you entertained.
- Bob Ross would be proud! One of our activity professionals is also a talented artist. She created this masterpiece to help recognize resident birthdays.
- The Stars of the Week program has been in place for over two years. Residents nominate staff who have gone above and beyond the call of duty each week to recognize their hard work.
- It has been a few years since Arizona has seen this much rain. The clouds in the sky and greenery the rain bring help us bear the heat of summer.
- Unit Spotlight: The Sunset unit has been recognized for the month of August for outstanding care and support in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Sunset demonstrates care and compassion while providing Person Centered Care in a behavioral setting.
