Success Story

Marvin is a resident of Paradise Island. He had COVID in July and exhibited weakness, dysphagia and impaired gait after becoming ill. He worked with Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy and is back at his prior level of function. He is back walking, exercising, eating well and assisting with his ADL’s. He loves coming down to the rehab gym with the Restorative Nursing or Rehab staff to exercise. He enjoys riding the exercise bike and playing basketball.

Marvin is an inspiration as the oldest resident at Maravilla and one of the fittest. Marvin is always a pleasure to work with and appreciative of all the help he receives.
