Success Story: Robert

Robert was admitted to Maravilla Care Center in July and he couldn’t eat, talk or walk. During his stay he received Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. He began eating and was able to feed himself. By discharge he could propel his wheelchair 35 feet and walk 25 feet with minimal assistance. He had good sitting balance and could transfer from bed to chair. He was able to communicate basic needs, participate in simple conversation and follow commands. Robert was discharged to a lower level of care to continue his rehabilitation in November. Good luck Robert!
